In April of 2007, our agency was listed as one of the top 50 Best Places to Work in Pittsburgh by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. For the second time the agency also received Erie Insurance’s most prestigious award, The 2007 F.W. Hirt Quality Agent Award. This award is presented to the agency that best exemplifies the attributes the Erie Group looks for in a quality agency. Such attributes include attitude, tenure, cooperation, volume and profitability.
Our Staff
Tony Zuback, Sr.
Tony started his agency in 1973. Prior to that he was a claims adjuster and claims supervisor. Tony is an insurance broker but primarily writes through The Erie Insurance Group. With his extensive background as both an agent and claims specialist, Tony prides himself in educating his customers and giving them the best rates available. He is a strong advocate of the golden rule– "Treating others the way you want to be treated." He emphasizes to his staff that in today’s fast moving and complex world, the customer must know that we truly care about them and that their livelihood is in our hands.
Tony Zuback, Jr.
Tony Jr is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and holds his bachelor's degree in Insurance. He brings positive energy to the agency and is always happy to assist customers with any situation, no matter how uncommon. Tony has been working with his father since 2002 and is always up for talking about insurance. He is licensed in property and casualty, life, health, annuities, as well as in commercial insurance.
Kathy Crump
Kathy has been an asset to the agency for the past 7 years. Always happy and very helpful to our customers, she really believes in "service with a smile!" Kathy has been licensed in Pennsylvania since 1991.
Donna Spina
Donna joined the agency in May of 2006. She has a B.A. in Business Administration from Robert Morris. Donna has been licensed to sell auto, home, commercial, and life insurance since 2004. She brings a positive attitude and a willingness to help others to the agency.
Carlotta Zuback
Carlotta has been licensed with The Tony Zuback Agency since 1990. Her office organizational skills and pleasant personality are great assets to the agency.
Michael James Smaroff
Michael is Tony and Carlotta's grandson and also the youngest person insured by the agency. He was born on 4/23/07 and has tremendous future potential as either a doctor- saving lives, an engineer- making lives better, or as an insurance agent- protecting lives. Michael has an infectious smile and is very alert. He makes everyone feel happy and loves to flirt!
